As an adult learner with an Intermediate to approaching Advanced understanding of how to use educational digital tools, I believe that this tool meets the needs of an adult learner who is tasked with presenting materials in a creative, professional and interactive manner. As an educator, this tool allows me to customize the learning experiences of my students in innovative ways. For example,
- I can create live polls and quizzes that I can use as an assessment tool.
- I can create a variety of open-ended questions that allow students to identify their strengths and weaknesses in a unobtrusive way.
- I can create chat and discussion forums where I can act as a moderator or leave the discussions to happen organically.
- I can create a space for students to provide anonymous feedback and commentary for any topic. Students within this space have the ability to chime in when they feel they have something to contribute at their own pace or synchronously.
